Cotswold Way Interactive Map and Route

The Cotswold Way National Trail stretches from Chipping Camden to the beautiful city of Bath. It’s just over 160 kilometres (or 100 miles in old money) and is officially split into 15 short sections as noted below:

  1. Chipping Campden to Broadway  – 9.6 Km
  2. Broadway to Wood Stanway – 10.5 Km
  3. Wood Stanway to Winchcombe – 8.8 Km
  4. Winchcombe to Cleeve Hill – 9 Km
  5. Cleeve Hill to Dowdeswell – 8.9 Km
  6. Dowdeswell to Leckhampton Hill – 7.6 Km
  7. Leckhampton Hill to Birdlip – 9 Km
  8. Birdlip to Painswick – 13.9 Km
  9. Painswick to King’s Stanley – 12.6 Km
  10. King’s Stanley to Dursley – 11.6 Km)
  11. Dursley to Wotton-Under-Edge – 11.8 Km
  12. Wotton-Under-Edge to Hawkesbury Upton – 11.9 Km
  13. Hawkesbury Upton to Tormarton – 12.4 Km
  14. Tormarton to Cold Ashton – 10.6 Km
  15. Cold Ashton to Bath 16.5 Km

A fit walker can complete this in a week covering 22km a day, with a five day completion involving 32km a day a reasonable proposition to the keen long distance walker. Most will choose to complete in a more leisurely way, with a 10 day itinerary or longer providing plenty of time to enjoy the wonderful scenic landscape of the Cotswolds.
