The Cotswold Way & Cotswold Villages Walking Holidays

We specialise in guided and self-guided inn to inn walks on the Cotswold Way.

Cotswold Way
The picture-perfect English countryside walk with rolling hills and gentle valleys. Designated a National Trail in 1998, the route passes picturesque honeycombed villages, lush woodland and fields crossed with drystone walls. The trail's surroundings has been awarded an area of outstanding natural beauty. The walk itself follows the escarpment running along the western edge of the Cotswolds beginning and ending in beautiful surroundings, the majestic city of Bath and quaint, unspoilt Chipping Campden. In between, the trail is linked by a chain of archetypal English villages typified by warm, honey-coloured Cotswold stone. The 102 mile path is a comfortable walk that will gently guide you through the history and beauty of the Cotswolds.

Cotswold Villages
The Cotswolds villages walking holiday meanders through this truly special and timeless region of England, boasting beautiful scenery at every turn. It trails through the archetypal image of an English countryside: fertile rolling valleys, lush pastures interspersed with pretty honey-coloured stone cottages set in medieval villages adorned with quaint churches, narrow lanes and ancient churchyards. Some highlights include the villages of Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway, and stunning Chipping Campden. Among these special moments are stately Sudeley Castle, Sezincote House and a ruined medieval abbey.

We pride ourselves on sourcing quality country inns, hotels and guest houses giving you the best rest and relaxation on offer before starting the walk each day. Your baggage will be transferred to the next accommodation en route allowing you time to fully enjoy the benefits of your surroundings.

Our guided route has the added benefit of a qualified, passionate walk leader with expertise and local knowledge of the trail.

The self-guided route offers an insightful and comprehensive guide littered with historic notes and tales to embellish your walking experience.
